India is upgrading the transportation infrastructure:

Hydraulico to deliver complete rail forging line

Hydraulico is delivering rail forging technologies for a new rail forging production facility in Bhilai, India.

The project, which has a value of $ 12 million, will be delivered during summer 2008. Production tests are scheduled to start in September 2008.

Hydraulico has signed a contract to deliver a complete, automated production line designed for switch rail forging to a new factory in Zhuzhou, China. The system, which costs $ 7.3 million, will be delivered in 2008.

 


Hydraulico employee receives silver medal

Kristensen received the silver medal from His Royal Highness Prince Joachim at Aarhus City Hall on behalf of the Confederation of Danish Industries and the Craft Medal Foundation in aarhus County (Håndværks Medalje Fond i Århus Amt). Each year, the medals are handed out to no more than 25 skilled apprentices from the Aarhus County. The medals have been handed out for 18 years in a row, but no one has ever received a gold medal.

Rasmus received the price based on his impressive grade upon completion of his apprenticeship as Industrial Technician. At the same time Hydraulico has nominated him as a skilled employeee and a popular colleague who is always ready with a helping hand.

Besides HRH Prince Joachim, the mayor of Aarhus Nicolai Wammen and the chairman of the Craft Medal Foundation in the Aarhus County, manager Niels Brøchner were present at the medal presentation.

England: New order for forging end of rails for trains

Forging of rail ends to obtain the form necessary when the rail is used for switching from one track to another.
